Update: The World After COVID Playlist in 2024

This playlist was created a month after the shutdowns began when COVID Pandemic hit back in 2019-2020. I decided to add a few tunes that caught my ear after stumbling on a few of tracks exploring Chillwave Pandora radio station. I realized that, like most playlist curators understand, there gives off this intelligent effect when songs are placed in a particular order of songs. The transition from one musical track to the next somehow connects emotionally to listeners in a very special way. Over the years, I had begun to amass a large list of songs that I would find by browsing artists on Spotify, Pandora and Amazon. Creating or curating playlist became my newest hobby.

It is a good skill for every musician to have to create their own playlist of songs sequenced and created to produce some sort of overall particular mood. Listening to songs in a particular order or using DJ techniques such as fast-forwarding the track to the very end of the song and then listening to how it transitions to the next song, can be a very interesting way for our ears to perceive the music and provides a very entertaining listening experience.

Updated post as of March 2024: I am oddly proud of this playlist growing to 1,023 songs and have posted a new image of this playlist! It is over 70 hours! Basically you can take a 3-day roadtrip and keep this thing playing nonstop and it will still be playing new, exciting songs. There’s so much music out there!, but these songs are hand-selected for a playlist designed to keep your ears entertained for a long trip! It is also a memory bank of songs that used to be popular or forgotten treasures that we forgot existed…
