Can you hear my music?

I have pondered this question many times as I drive through town to get to my piano lessons. I tend to be like most commuters, who enjoy listening to their favorite playlist of songs that are replayed over and over throughout the week. It could be equated to the only sacred time you have for yourself during a busy, long, non-stop week. I wonder to myself about people who have their windows rolled down. Can they hear my music? I even pondered so far enough to wonder if people roll down their windows to listen to other people’s music in their cars? Perhaps overthinking that one. But I have passed by many cars who will have windows rolled down, but have absolutely no music. Just complete silence. Maybe they enjoy the natural sounds of the highway? Or maybe simply just inviting in the fresh air. I have seen interesting, coincidentally on-beat pattern changes in the traffic lanes depending on what song I decide to play in my car. Sometimes it even seems like drivers are “vibing” along to the music on my playlist. A sound engineer once told me that you could probably reach 65-70dB before sound barrier of the car is broken and any song from inside the car could be heard outside… I guess I’ve answered my own question.
